The University of Ottawa is the largest bilingual university in the world.  Located in Canada's capital, Ottawa, the University of Ottawa offers a vibrant, dynamic learning environment.  The university offers 550 undergraduate and graduate programs. University of Ottawa attracts international students from over 145 countries due to its quality education,  lower tuition fees and its location in the capital city of Canada.

ADMISSIONS

Higher Secondary School Certificate with a minimum average of 70% depending on the program selected.


Documents required:

  • Transcripts from the last three years of secondary studies

  • Transcripts of results from first semester of final year

  • English Language Proficiency Test results

TUITION FEES

C$19,000-21,000 per year

SCHOLARSHIPS & FINANCIAL AID

The University of Ottawa offers a few scholarships for international students.

  • Differential Tuition Fee Exemption Scholarship: This is open to Francophone and Francophile students in programs that are conducted in French.

  • International English Entrance Scholarship: Valued at $2250-7500 per term. These scholarships are awarded to students from Bangladesh, India, Indonesia, Vietnam and Africa. This is an automatic scholarship which is open to all students from the above countries

  • International English Excellence Scholarship: Valued at $2250-12500 per term.

  • Faculty of Arts Dean's Merit Scholarship: Valued at $4000.

STUDENT HOUSING

The University of Ottawa offers traditional single or double rooms with shared bathrooms or traditional plus with attached bathrooms.  There are also options for studio and suite apartments and full apartments with kitchen, dining and living spaces. Fees for the same can range from $15,000-25,0000 per year.
